Get a Price

Start by finding your device through our site using the search function or top offers sections. From there simply follow the requested steps on-screen to get your price and complete the trade-in process. It’s fast and simple.

Package Device

While trading-in your device you’ll generate a prepaid address label to send your device to us. Don’t have a printer? Don’t worry, you will also receive a digital QR code. Read through handy FAQ’s for tips on how to safely package and ship your device.

Collect or Mail

Once you’ve packaged your device and attached the free shipping label simply take your device to your local Post Office branch or, if chosen, wait for your doorstep collection from Royal Mail. Once dispatched we should receive your device within 48-72 hours.

Spend your Cash

Once we receive your device it will go through our internal tests to ensure everything is as described. These steps take around 24 hours and once approved we will process your payment on the same day. Find out more about our payment options and timescales on our FAQs.

Trading in

How do I sell my device?

Start by finding your device through our site using the search function or top offers sections. From there simply follow the requested steps on-screen to get your price and complete the trade-in process. It’s fast and simple.

How do I factory reset my device?

Your iPhone or device may have personal data on it.  We try to make sure that this is wiped during our processing but we cannot guarantee all data will be removed.  We recommend before you send your device you wipe this data and you must remove any security measures like PINs, Activation Locks and FMIP (Find My iPhone).

If these are not removed then we will be unable to process your device. Please note that your data may be wiped during our testing and inspection processes even if the device is then returned to you.  Please make a backup before wiping and sending your device.

To reset your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings  > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  2. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

When iPhone restarts all content and settings will be erased. It may ask for your Apple ID password to ensure the activation lock is removed.

When you have your new iPhone arrives you will have the option to set up as a new iPhone or restore it from a previous backup.

Packing & Shipping

How do I send my device?

 Whilst trading in your device, the final confirmation step generates a free Royal Mail postage label. Simply print this off and attach it to your package. You can either ship your device from your local post office or take advantage of our free and convenient door-step collection. Once dispatched, we should receive your device within 48-72 hours.

How should I package my device?

After removing your sim card and resetting your device, package your device ensuring it is secure and protected with all edges of the parcel tightly sealed. We would advise using a suitably sized box and bubble wrap to make sure it gets to us safely rather than a padded envelope!

Do I have to pay for postage?

Postage is completely free! Your free Royal Mail postage label will be generated at the confirmation stage of your order.

Do you need my devices accessories?

We don’t require or ask for any accessories such as chargers, cases or headphones with your device. However, if you choose to send them we are happy to responsibly recycle them for you free of charge.

What about my SIM card?

Please remove your SIM card prior to dispatching your device. Should you send your SIM card with your device we can either dispose of it or send it back*.

Payments

What payment options can I choose?

We offer three payment methods for your tech – PayPal, bank transfer or cheque.

How long does payment take?

Dependent on your chosen payment type please allow up to 24-72 hours for the payment to reach your account.

Paypal

Will be processed the same day we receive and test your device. It will clear in your account within 3 working days.

Bank transfer

Will be processed the same day we receive and test your device. It will clear in your account within 3 working days.

Cheques

Will be sent same day via second class post and should reach you within 2-3 working days. Clearance times are dependent on your bank but allow 5 workings day.
